Pho East Lake Vietnamese Restaurant in Airdrie

My favorite place to go for Vietnamese. Whether or not you get friendly service or curt service depends on which of the waitresses/sisters you get, but it is always professional and they very very rarely forget anything.The food itself is the best part of the place, and like any place there are food some like others won't. I am not a soup person for example, but I know people who get the same soup there every time. The thing is; once you find the dish/dishes you like, you will be hard pressed to find a restaurant that makes the same dish better.Plus that price tho

Extremely friendly owners! The iced Vietnamese coffee was delicious, as was the jasmine tea. The pho was also great, and the ones listed as spicy aren't spicy enough that they should scare away anyone who may be put off by extreme spice. All the usual delicious condiments which can be used to kick up the spice to eye watering levels if so desired. Very reasonably priced and would most definitely recommend!

I have lunch here often and have never been disappointed. Food has always been good and service has been quick.

Friendly staff that remember my order from every time I've been there before. I still get a hello at the door, asked to sit anywhere I would like, and brought a menu. But they usualy have an idea of what I would like. It is a family style restaurant with excellent service and great people behind the counter, every dinner I've had here I've enjoyed thoroughly!

They give you a good amount of sliced beef in their pho's. You can definitely taste that the broth is real and not powdered. On top of that it's reasonably priced. I enjoy coming here. It's only knock is the restaurant looks pretty dated

I love this place. I am from Calgary and my son frequents the arena behind the restaurant. I have had their sate beef sub and their sate beef on vermicelli with the fixings. Amazing fresh food, and great flavours against the back drop of friendly service and awesome prices. Looking forward to my kid's next hockey practice.

We've tried other Vietnamese restaurants, and Pho East Lake is for sure the best in Airdrie. Great soups, great noodle dishes.

Get the satay beef anything its delish! As well as they have good spring rolls. Staff are nice atmosphere is quiet and cozy.

Best Vietnamese in Airdrie hands down. The food tastes great, the staff is friendly, the price is great for the amount of food you get. This is one of the few places I don't regret eating at anymore.

Pho East Lake is easily the best Vietnamese place in Airdrie, and I have yet to eat anywhere that has better vermicelli. Fantastic food for the price, and a hidden gem for everyone who's lived on the East side for long enough. Those who have moved away always come back for pho!

Fresh ingredients and good flavours. Only thing is portions are very small. Should lower price if the size is half the amount of other restaurants.

Pho soup broth was too sweet for my taste.

Awful service. Came in waited to be seated like the the sign said, a larger party of 7 came after me and the server straight up ignored me and seated them first. Does a larger party mean higher priority? Should individual customers not be valued?

Very friendly staff. We have had pho from many places in the Calgary area and this is one of the best yet! No complaints at all and we are very happy that we found this place!

Surprised with the small amount of food and the big bill and was for sure not going to leave a tip.

Pretty good vietnamese food. Prices on par with other ones.

Ordered the war wonton soup and my friend ordered the Pho beef satay.We both really enjoyed the flavors and the staff was polite and the food came out in a timely manner. If you find yourself in Airdree and your looking for Pho this place is a great choice

Hands down my favourite casual restaurant in Airdrie and Calgary area. It is truly a hidden little gem. Located in a strip mall, the atmosphere is casual but nice and the staff are wonderful. Today I had the grilled pork and prawn on rice vermicelli with spring rolls. The portions are generous and the flavours are bang on. Authentic and VERY flavourful. I’ve been to other Vietnamese restaurants in both Calgary and Airdrie and this restaurants food is by far the best. You can find more formal atmosphere but not better food.

Solid choice for consistently good Vietnamese food. Fast, friendly and priced well.

Food is alright but it takes a long time so prepare to wait. The Service was not friendly which was disappointing. It's a low budget restaurant with small portion sizes. For airdrie this might be fine but there are close Viet places in Calgary that are much better all around. There is a bug problem too such a problem that there's fly paper hanging in the plants in view of your table :/

Since discovering this gem a few months ago I have visited several times for Pho. The soup is always delicious and the prices are very reasonable. Will definitely be back again!

The best Vietnamese in Airdrie by far. The owners are amazing and the food is cheap and delicious.

This Vietnamese Restaurant is off the beaten path and I never would have known about it if a friend hadn't raved about it. We stopped on our way home from the airport one evening and had an excellent meal. Not all fish sauce is created equal and theirs is very good. The decor is more like a cafe style so not fancy but the selection of food is good with excellent service. Definitely a "do-again".
